From Australia to Phuket

Virgin Blue operate direct flights from Perth (effective from Feb 2011). Travel Online offers discounted flights as part of a package with your accommodation. For a quote simply choose your Resort or Hotel and during the quote process select the flights option. This is the cheapest way to book your flights.

Jetstar operates Direct flights between Australia and Phuket and depart from Sydney and take approximately 9½ hours (on average). www.jetstar.com

Air Asia fly from Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast to Phuket via Kuala Lumpur. www.airasia.com

Other airlines such as Thai, Singapore and Malaysia operate regular flights from most Australian capital cities via Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Total flight times including wait times for connecting flights vary from 12.30 up to 17 hours.

Emirates Airline and British Airways offer some flights to Phuket (on a less frequent basis than the others) and are via Bangkok.

From New Zealand to Phuket

There are currently no direct flights from NZ to Phuket.
You have the option of flying via;
Hong Kong with Air NZ
Bangkok with Thai Airways
Via Sydney and Bangkok with British Airways
Singapore with Singapore Airlines

Flying times vary from 12 hours up to 15hours PLUS connection times, with via Sydney, Singapore and Bangkok the shortest flying time options. (please check connecting flight wait times)

Transfers from Airport to Resorts

While you can catch a Thai taxi, we recommend booking your transfers with your hotel booking using a recommended service provider. You simply add transfers option to your quote or booking and we look after the rest.

This is a more secure and reliable option and while it may be slightly more expensive, dealing with a credible operator makes it money well spent.
