Phuket Weather
Thailand and the Phuket region are known for their tropical monsoon climate. The weather is warm all year round with very little change to the average temperature month to month. Temperatures hover around the mid to high 20C. What does vary is the rainfall. The monsoon season which starts in Sep and ends late Oct is when heavy rainfall and high humidity is common. If you are planning a holiday or vacation to Phuket, November to March are the most popular months to travel, with comfortable warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine and less chance of regular rainfall. Phuket's West Coast is also becoming known for its great surfing. The best time to surf in Phuket is from April to September. This is a period were the swells are biggest but it is normally the hottest time of year for Phuket so pack your sunscreen. The west coast of Phuket has many beautiful beaches and headlands providing plenty of different surfing opportunities depending upon the swell direction and the winds.
